Luke Bryan's Knockin' Boots

With his twangy vocals, heartfelt lyrics and eyebrow-raising dance moves, Luke Bryan has connected with country fans of all ages. The multi-platinum star has racked up 26 No. 1 hits on country radio and sold over 12 million albums. He's also known for his large-scale live shows and has headlined seven major tours in the last decade including 36 stadium concerts, 11 Farm Tours and six years of Spring Break events.

Born and raised in Leesburg, Georgia, Bryan worked on his family's peanut and fertilizer farm and enjoyed outdoor activities like hunting and fishing. He developed a love for country music at an early age and sang along to George Strait songs with his mother who encouraged him to pursue his talent. At 14, his parents bought him a guitar and he began performing with local bands at Skinner's and other area venues.

After high school graduation, Bryan was ready to move to Nashville and pursue his music career full-time. But the day he was set to load his car, tragedy struck and his older brother Chris was killed in a car accident. Despite his loss, Bryan continued to work on the family farm and play music with his band at night on campus and in local bars.

In 2013, he started to see bigger success with the release of his first EP Spring Break... Here to Party and then his fourth album Crash My Party which went double platinum. The following year, he returned with another double platinum album Kill the Lights which featured a mix of old and new songs.

On his latest single Knockin' Boots, Bryan reimagines the euphemism for "dancing the night away" with southern imagery that's remiscent of budding romance and hot summer nights. It's a solid song that showcases Bryan's ability to use his voice and lyrics to tell a story without overstating the obvious.

The acoustic version of this song, which was recorded at the famed Abbey Road Studios in London, has a more raw and stripped-down feel. The lyrics are more emotional and honest than the acoustic versions of other Bryan songs. It's a beautiful and moving song that gives fans a taste of what to expect on his upcoming sixth studio album. The song is currently streaming on Spotify and will be released in digital format on October 12. The album is scheduled to hit stores on December 8.
